DEAR STEFAN,
I didn't explain much throughout my blog. I've never been good with words. Before this, I had never had a blog before, and I feel like this was a good introductory blog. It's very basic, and made me realize that they're important. I feel like it makes you take a step back from your image and reassess them after editing before you post them up online. I also like being able to see the work from classmates that is outside of school projects. Class assignments are okay but you can learn more about someone or their interests by looking outside of class projects. I definitely am going to start up another blog, that isn't on this website because it's weird. Maybe tumblr. The only thing I didn't like, is that people rarely looked at others blogs.

ReplyDeleteIt was a good start for you. I would keep posting your own work but try to incorporate a little more of an explanation about your process or about what you were thinking when you took the image, etc. Think of the blog as a work in progress, a place where you discuss what you are upto at the moment and how you like it or don't. Also keep up with the influences and work you find interesting. That is also key.
Good luck next quarter. don't be a stranger come by often and show me what you are up to.
